Charges:
 
Day Rate
UK State schools: £600 for the 2024-5 academic year. This is not a single show, it is a whole day of science in your school!
For all other schools and festivals, please contact me to discuss details.

For writing projects: please contact me to discuss details.

For training sessions: please contact me to discuss your needs.

Travel
I am based in Oxford. My day rate includes travel of up to one hour (as predicted by Google Maps for the time/day of travel). Over this an appropriate charge may be added. If a hotel stay is required, this will be added on top.

Other charges
All materials are included in the day rate and no VAT is added on top. 



Official Stuff:
 
I always supply a full Risk Assessment and copies of my insurance documentation. I have an enhanced DBS check and am registered with the online service for ease of checking. I have completed both the Generalist Safeguarding Pupils Briefing and the Prevent training. All my electrical equipment is PAT certified.

Bookings:
 
Please email me (sarah@childrens-science.co.uk) to discuss your requirements. Schools are required to pay a 50% deposit, payable one month before the event. Final payment is due within 30 days of the completion of the work.
